Pure Soap Flakes - Where to Buy?

Hi folks,

I need pure soap flakes for washing my ski gear and have searched high and low in all the supermarkets for them. On asking staff some have never heard of them at all.
Does anyone know where I can get them. South Meath/ west Dublin area.

The last time I bought them was in a Superquinn quite some time ago. Try Woodies in Lucan if SQ are unable to help you or in fact B & Q. I was using them for something very different and the good hardware shops stocked them.
 
Dreft is a commercial brand of soap flake that you can find in supermarkets. I've used Nikwax Tech wash when cleaning waterproofed or breathable outerwear with no problems. You can buy it in most camping shops.
 
I agree with good supermarkets, also maybe try those small independant shops kinda like thrift stores, I dunno what to call them!

what you need is NIKWAX TECH WASH . that is a non detergent soap.after you wash them use NIKWAX TX DIRECT .this reproofs them.wash in washing machine at low temp....easy peasy
