public service pension levy deduction

i am a recent public service pensioner. i have just noticed that the pension levy is being deducted from my pension - is this correct?
if not, is the easiest thing to sort this out with the revenue commissioners when balancing in the new year?
 
As far as I know, that is not supposed to be the case. Could you be confusing 'Income Levy' with Pension Levy? In any event, contact your previous employer's pension or payroll department to sort it out. It has nothing to do with Revenue. Have a great retirement. Slim

No, there are deductions for both income levy and pension levy. I will indeed inquire.
