Public Holiday pay for part time worker

Perhaps someone can clarify something for me. I've looked through the Organisation of Working Time Act and it's not too clear on one aspect.

It states that if a part time worker works 40 hours in the previous 5 weeks they are entitled to Public Holiday Pay.

What I'm unsure of is what level of pay they are entitled to. For arguements sake, suppose someone works one 8 hour day a week for 5 weeks. Are they entitled to 8 hours pay for the bank holiday, or are they entitled to one fifth of their normal weekly pay being 1.6 hours.

Say the Public Holiday is Monday, and Monday is normally a working day for you, you would be entitled to the same pay as you would have for any other Monday (providing you complied with the 40 hours in the previous 5 weeks condition).

If you do not normally on a Monday (Say Tues. Wed & Thurs are your working days) you should then be paid 2/5ths of your normal weekly wage for the Public Holiday Monday
