thank you so so much to Brendan for setting up this forum, it has kept me going the last few years.
I would recommend to anyone that is waiting for the rates to be changed or rates that have being changed and your not happy with it contact Padraic Kissane he knows the ins and outs of this situation. Just hope now our letters will be here soon
Would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Brendan for this website and to all of you that have posted about this as it kept me going for the last few years knowing I wasn't the only one.
I am always late repaying due to financial pressure Bronte
We got ours back too - Rang the wife to tell her and she started crying, ha-ha. Saving us €600 a month.
I would be more than happy to talk about this...my online account is showing 1.15% and im still coming to terms with the great news...the forum of support has been brilliant.Great news. Well done all!
Would any of you be prepared to talk to a journalist about this? If so email me at brendan at this website. ASAP.
Brendan
I feel the same Ella, the more time that passes the more upset I am over the 3.3%. I can think of 3 lines of attack but feel defeated and tired after 5 years of financial ruin. No incentive to continue paying the mortgage. We were punished for being cautious and going on fixed rates and dealing with donkiesHi Taldar & Bronte i have been in the same boat as the 80 people the Ombudman kept under it wing. I and a lot of other people that did all the same things you did and he ruled against us very had to watch 80 been looked after and we were cast aside my fight as also been 5 years
My mortgage rate at its peak was 6.95%.It is now 5.5.
What Ptsb did was deliberate, there was no 'glitch'.
