According to my statement next month the interest for PTSB Visa card will go up, but it does not say how much, it rather points to the web which points to this document.
Purchase APR
The ICE Card raises from 9.9 % to 11.9 %.
The Classic Card raises from 17.2 % to 19.3 %.
That is quite a drastic increase by 2 % points for ICE and 1.9 % points for Classic.
Cash APR
The ICE Card raises from 11.6 % to 14.7 %.
The Classic card raises from 19.0 % to 20.0 %.
And here it's even higher for ICE, it's 3.1 % points, while for classic it's only 1% point.
It’s a bad idea to do cash advance anyhow, but that is what I call a big increase.
Looks like they have some trouble getting money if they have to raise their APR this big.
