PTSB Fixed Rates

A friend of mine works in PTSB and he told me that fixed rates were being reduced first week of November. My brother is applying for a mortgage with PTSB and I said it to him and he's holding off drawing down the mortgage until this is announced. Nothing so far though.

Has anyone else heard anything similar?

Hi, the new business rates for selected products were reduced on 25 October.
 
thanks for that, I didn't see it announced anywhere.

I was actually told by the person working there on the 28th October that their fixed rates were being reduced next week. I think based on the PTSB website a few of their mortgage rates increase 0.05% for 2, 3 and 5 years loans that are less than €250k borrowing. If borrow that amount or more, it seems the rates fell by 0.15% across the board from what I had recorded the rates as being.
