Prtb leases on house sale?

I am selling a property I lived it but then rented out. I had some terrible luck with tenants, non payment and basically the house being left in an awful state and unrentable for a period.

This is what I want to know, Is it compulsory to provide prtb leases when selling the property to solicitor or their accountant when calculating CGT?

You'll be asked by your solicitor if the property was rented out - it will also be obvious to any prospective purchaser. You'll need to provide all the details to your solicitor.

And your solicitor cares nothing about your CGT liability - that's a matter for you.
