Hello. I am just wondering about how legally enforceable spousal maintenance payments are treated for PRSI & USC purposes. Am I correct in believing that the spouse making the payment can claim back PRSI/ USC payments, whilst the spouse receiving them is liable for PRSI / USC on payments?
