PRSI refunds when earning over PRSI ceiling

Hello, it has recently come to my attention that I may be due a refund of PRSI paid.

The situation is that I have two employers and get two P60s. In my main employment I earn over the PRSI ceiling, and so I don't pay PRSI at the end of the year.

But my other, smaller, employer also charges PRSI. Is it correct that I should get a refund of this PRSI, as I have already paid up to the earnings ceiling in my main employment?

Has anybody else any experience of actually doing this?

My only experience of reclaiming PRSI was in relation to standalone PRSA and RAC contributions. However presumably you can just send copies of both of your P60s for the years to Revenue (see here for example) asking them to review your PRSI deductions and process any refund that may be due?

I thought PRSI refunds would come from Social Welfare, not Revenue. The PRSI refund form is on welfare website
