Simple question ( I hope!!!!)
I am PAYE, my wife is self employed. She had been working PAYE for 20 years prior to being self employed for the past 8 years. We are jointly assessed and complete a F11 form every year. With particular reference to a state contributary pension for my wife, Am I correct to assume that in the calculation of our net liabilities, my wifes PRSI contribution is deducted, keeping up the contributions and therefore entitling her to a full state pension ( assuming she stays self employed until aged 68)
Edited to say....self employed gross and net profit less than €5000 per year, so maybe no PRSI deductions for self employed made on form?
thanks for your help.
