I am 30 setting up my first PRSA. Should I get a broker or not? who can I trust? I want to invest in medium high risk places for 10 years and then switch to something safer then. I am aware that I can put in alump sum before the end of the month, but in reality how does this work?

Any advice on where to go for business for low charges and options to invest in Index trackers...as I read these are good! :)

Many thanks for advice!

If you do a search on PRSA in these pages, you'll find plenty of answers to all of your questions above.

You can also get answers to your general queries on www.pensionsboard.ie.

You could come back then with any specific questions that you might have.

Hi John thanks for tip. I have been reading for over a week! I had a meeing with my bank who is linked with Irish Life and he wasnt that helpful. They dont tell you about the charges etc. Is it really true that the broker can get you a "wholesale" price rather than the "retail" prices being offered through the bank? (read this on a thread here)

Also read that labrokers is good? but this was a post from last year. any new deals floating around?

thanks!
