Prostitution in Ireland - Legal or illegal?

Hello,

I think this is the law regarding prostitution in Ireland. Could anyone let me know if I am correct/incorrect? Thanks.

It is LEGAL to pay for sex with a prostitute.
It is LEGAL to sell your body for sex AS LONG AS you do not have a pimp/manager (in other words, you are a "sole trader".)

Is this true??

Prostitution, soliciting (for sex), brothel keeping and "living off immoral earnings" are all illegal in Ireland. See the sexual offences act:

is illegal in Ireland. Sounds like a loophole alright.
