Hi all, I have finally taken the steps of meeting with MABS, and they have agreed to help us with the following:

Credit union loans totalling 21,700 against shares of 7,200
2 X avant card totalling 11,700.

Total available for debts per month is €154, according to MABS budget sheet/SFS - this is after (reduced) mortgage is paid.

My MABS account manager is asking for 1 year reduced payments pro rata rate, or recommending PIA. 2 questions - Have I any hope of getting this passed for 12 months? and also while I am waiting for a decision, should I pay what MABS has recommended to CU and CC, or not pay at all?

Total income is approx 2261 P.M. including SW and child benefit.
2 secondary schoolchildren + 2 adults
Reduced mortgage payments of €540
Everything at the bare minimum, no holidays/luxuries/health insurance etc

Hi so-crates - no, there is no reason, Im just not sure if they are going to accept MABS proposal, so Im wondering is it best to pay what MABS is offering, or to go further into arrears. Arrears are quiet low at the moment, but due to our current circumstances they will grow quickly
