I purchased a new house that is being built (mortgage approved, contracts signed 2013) and am waiting for the house to be finished and the keys to be handed over.
My question is; If I do not get the keys, or take down the mortgage, until 2014 am i still entitled to not have to pay they property tax as it was "bought in 2013"?
At what stage is the house considered officially purchased?
