Property in the UK

I own a property in the UK, currently rented, and I've returned to live in Ireland temporarily. I'm not working here - yet. I use the Royal Bank of Scotland to do the transactions. Does anyone know about the tax implications of my situation, and where I'm liable to pay it?

As you are likely to be resident in Ireland here for more than 180 days in the calendar year. However you are likely to be domicle in the UK( I am assuming you are born in UK) as you suggest you are only tempoarly in Ireland.

You are therefore taxable in Ireland on your Irish income only. Your rental income will be taxable in the UK.

This will be covered by the Ireland UK treaty.

My answer is subject to the assumption s outlined above.
