A family member took their child for an educational assessment privately before Christmas. They have not yet received the report. Numerous emails have been sent , requesting same and there is no phone contact possible either.
Time is of the essence as accessing further supports for the child depends on this report.
The professional has also not invoiced them for the assessment.
Where would they stand if they went to another professional and informed the original practitioner that they have made every effort to make contact and pay for the assessment and now cannot wait any longer for the report .

Is there any regulatory authority for the people who do these educational assessments? Whoever recommended or referred the child for the assessment might be able to give further advice if they deal with this organisation regularly.

After weeks of trying to contact said professional, an email sent earlier this week with the caveat that no payment would be made after a certain date, promoted the psychologist to ring back and say that the report would be sent out ... don't think it arrived yet but at least the email got their attention !! Thank you for your suggestions.

There is no consequence for this as a psychologist. The PSI can do nothing. The register is also voluntary. A joke. CORU dragging heels on it still.
