Hi,
Just moved into house, having a problem with the dishwasher.when its finished its still full of water,,,,,we have tried all the programes on it but still stays full of water.took it apart to see if we could see whats the problem but cant find whats wrong.Any ideas?

Check for blockages in the waste water hose.
Also check the waste water pump... this can stick after a prolonged period of non use. Turn the plastic fan blades on the outside to free it up.

Just to add to what Bstop has said, unfortunatly most dish washers have a fully enclosed pump, so you will probably have to remove one of the rubber pipes going to or from the pump and then try to free the impeller (usually plastic blades) by hand or remove any blockage.
This is assuming that this is the problem and not a knackered pump or some other fault. Obviously remove the water by some other means before doing this. The pump is usaully accessed from under the machine.

I don't think there is a problem with the pump because the dishwasher will empty mid cycle and refill to rinse so if it empties the drain pump is working.

Hi,

I too have a Bosch dishwasher and this happened when it was only 2 weeks old. The engineer came and turned out it was a tiny piece of a plastic beaker broken off had lodged in the filter. We had taken the filter out, emptied the water (as much as we could with beakers etc) but had failed to EMPTY IT FULLY. The engineer did it with a syringe and when the water gone, we could clearly see the small bit of plastic (no bigger than a 2 cent piece). This had stopped the filter working properly, hence the non-emptying after or middle of cycle.
Try emptying it FULLY and taking filter out. You will have to fiddle around in there so use rubber gloves as its likely its a piece of glass in there thats blocking so TAKE CARE.
BEst luck
