Hi,
Our mother died some time ago, the house was in her name. Father continued to live in the house until his recent death.
My mother died intestate. Asset her house but was lived in exclusively by our father.
Father died recently and left all assetts between me and sibling.
Is there a way to transfer house to Father's name after his death, and then just do probate for his recent death?
Or would we have do probate for mother and again for father?

We had the same situation and had to get probate done retrospectively for my father who predeceased my mother by 20 years before we could then get my mother's probate done. The family home was always in my father's name and we never realised that we should have done something about this when he died and everything went to my mother at the time. Ask your solicitor for guidance in case there's some other way to proceed.

Doesn’t the mothers house pass 2/3 to the father and 1/3 to the children. So now the children are inheriting the 2/3 share. Which might be important if the property is very valuable. Legal advice is needed for this case.

Ah, that may be one difference compared to my family's situation. In our case when my father died his will left everything to my mother but, in ignorance, nobody did anything about taking out probate at the time leading to the complication, expense and delay when it's came to dealing with my mother's will/probate.
