    hi

I setup a new company as working now as a consultant.

I am anmoyed to see when i put in my full name the name of my company which shows my home address.

this is *only* on solocheck.ie and i will be contacting them about this.

the key thing is that the irish companies registration office cro.ie * correctly * do not allow google to crawl their website.

yes you can find my details but only if you go to the cro.ie website and search there specifically. thats fine.

this must be a serious invasion of my privacy and i would welcome any thoughts on this site solocheck.ie which clearly gets its data from cro.ie.

    thank you for reading

This is public information, you have no entitlement to such privacy. Solocheck aren't the only source of such information and it'll become available on these other sources as they update their databases. You may find Google indexing the CRO information before long too.

If you don't want your home address coming up in searches etc, just change your registered office address. Some professional firms allow customers to use their address for an annual fee.
