Advice please - I bought a home in Dublin in 2006 and lived there for a couple of years. Due to work circumstances in late 2008 I had to move to Cork. I am renting out my Dublin house and renting another house in Cork - so not owned by me.
Can I claim mortgage interest relief for the years 2008, 2009, 2010?
Thanks
P.S. I think the answer is bad news!

As you are renting out the property you should be filing returns with the Revenue. You can set mortgage interest paid against the rental income provided that each tenancy was registered with the PRTB.
If you have been claiming TRS you will need to repay this back.

Be aware that you are also liable for the NPPR tax, and the last two years will be accruing penalties if not already paid.
