Paid €6.50 for a 12.5kg bag of coal in Woodies today.
Anyone know of other shops/petrol stations/fuel suppliers with better prices than that.
Thanks in advance

That's very expensive!

At that price it is costing €520 a tonne.

Our local farm co op is selling Grade A Polish coal for €350 a tonne, (delivered) at the moment. (it comes in 40kg bags)

When we were buying coal by the bag last year (in Cork City) it was around €20 for a 40kg bag.

Just got a flier in the door for a shop in the North East selling 40kg bags of smokeless coal for €14.50 each (and €13.50 each if you buy 5).

Think it must be much dearer in Dublin, priced a 20kg at petrol station in Palmerstown and it was €12.50 for a 20kg bag
Anyone know of a places around West Dublin/Kildare with prices around the above - circa €14 sounds great for a 40kg bag?
Many Thanks

i paid 285 euro for 20 40kg bags of polish coal in co kerry and having tried it out these past few cold evenings, its superb. Check small ads in your local newspaper for ads on coal prices and dealers.
