Does anyone know of companies that do practice interviews in Galway area? I have an interview in a couple of weeks and would like to do some practice ones first.
I am claiming jobseeker benefit at the moment so don't know if there are any government agencies that do it.
 
You should contact your local FAS office and enquire about Job Club in your area. You do interview preparation, mock interviews etc as part of a Job Club course. There is no charge. Indeed you receive a small allowance for participating in a course
 
I did ring FAS Galway today and they just gave me a number for an external private company in Loughrea. I did ask did they do anything internally and was told no!! I don't mind if thats all there is and will pay for it as badly need to get this job
 
On FAS' website there is an address for a Job Club. Might be worth a try.

I'll try the Resource Centre tomorrow. I have a quote for a 2.5hr session for €350 through the company in Loughrea
 
Make sure they video you if your doing a practice interview.
Puts you under a bit of pressure - otherwise your paying 350 for a chat.
