I'm doing a Powerpoint presentation and want to know how to add photographs which I took with a digital camera. When I "Insert Picture" the picture is too large for the slide and I have to resize each picture individually - is there an easier way of doing this? I need to have a caption for each photograph. Thanks very much!
 
No, not really. The only other option you have is to open the pictures (again individually) in photo-editor and resize them there. Unless you try to upload them into somthing like shutterfly or photobucket - the pictures get resized (downsized) automatically during uploading, but then you have to save them from there again, probably takes just as long...
Re the caption, best to insert a text box underneath.
 
Here's a low tech option.
Open photo and adjust to the size you need it to be. "Print screen" and paste to "paint" application. Then cut the exact image you need and paste to powerpoint. I do this all the time for quirky stuff on the web.
