My friend is keen to open up a 'pop up shop' type situation in her local (small) town. She isn't registered as a business, and this is a first of its kind for her.
She has a premises checked out, on a short term lease, and she would be selling 'discount store' type goods. She is not registered as a business and has not yet purchased anything in the way of stock etc.
Can anyone help with the legalities here? I assume she would need public liability insurance. What about registering as a business?
