This is a query I have. due to a lot of bills there was not enough money to meet our direct debit payments a few times and Glo health have advised me that unless I pay 1,900 to bring us up to date my policy will be cancelled. If I go ahead and let the policy be terminated will I be able to get another policy for my family. I am 54 and my husband is 50 and we have 3 children. I cannot afford to pay out almost 2,000 to get my policy back on track.

Any one had a similar problem

Many thanks

I would ask the above.

Isn't the problem if you start another one it won't cover you until after 2yrs have past? I don't know the exact time. So may be completely wrong.

If your plan is cancelled what is your date of cancellation?

You can take a new plan out within 13 weeks of the cancellation and won't have to reserve waiting periods (5 years for pre-existing conditions and 6 months for new conditions) or have LCR loadings applied but if you go over the 13 weeks you'll be subject to both. You will receive credits for previous periods of cover paying an adult rate which will reduce your loading.
