They are digging the roads at the moment to put in the main pipes for gas in Ballina.
I know its coming to Castlebar and Westport first.
Just wondering:
1. when they expect that it will be available for use by domestic customers?
2. Will they be piping it to all suburban estates?
3. What is the likely connection fee?
After that I am sure I will have to figure out what kind of boiler to get etc, but am sure its covered in other threads.
I assume piped gas is going to be a lot cheaper per unit heat than oil.
