Picture Design

Looking to see if anyone can direct me to good webpage. Basically I have bought two mounted blank canvases and want to do a very simple design on each in the colour I have painted my room. Am not in the least bit artistic so just wanted to see if there is any site I could view a few very basic designs for pictures which I might be able to do myself.

The tate modern do 'paint it youself' kits [broken link removed] - they might give you some inspiration.I think Habitat might do the same. If you're looking for flat colour designs maybe get some wallpaper samples. somewhere like this might give you some good ideas http://www.wallpaperdirect.co.uk/harlequin2.php I'd have a look at some of the canvas's in Dunnes homestores too - they always look to me like they might be easy to copy.
if you're very nervous about the drawing aspect of it maybe look at some sentencils in an arts and craft or DIY store.
