PIA after separation. Allowable expenses towards children?

Hi.
I hope someone can give me some help on here.
I need to either go bankrupt or do a PIA.
I am working in Dublin. My children live in Waterford and I drive up and down about ten times a month.
I pay child maintenance to my wife but I also incur monthly child-related expenses visiting, collecting, food, activities etc. in the region of about €400/month.

After RLE's this leaves me with maybe €100/month to put towards the PIA.

How is this likely to be viewed? Will a PIP tell me it's a non-runner?
Will I be told I need to cut down on travel and the time I spend with my children?

What assets have you

It really depends on your assets and liabilities

Is their anything to go after ?

Thanks for your reply.
Yes some assets.

But leaving aside the viability of the PIA would €400/mth spent on travelling to visit children be deemed a "reasonable expense" do you think if, say, I was to enter bankruptcy?

I'm trying to establish whether or not I'd be forced to reduce (my already limited) time with my children in order to make money available to creditors.
