Personal injury insurance

My boyf & I are buying a house and all is going well with it. His job involves physical labour and he has no form of personal injury/accident insurance so if he happens to injure himself and is out of work for any length of time, is there any insurance that will cover it and pay him while he's out of work? Just thinking that with the impending mortgage repayments, we couldn't really afford to be one wage down. He'll only get paid about one quarter of his wage from his employer in the event that something happens. Any ideas/suggestions?

eiregal,

None of the above companies will do Personal Accident as a stand alone policy.

You will need to contact a General Insurance Company/Broker.

You could also look at the possibility of getting Permanent Health Insurance. Just enough to cover the mortgage payment, perhaps.
