Pension Planning at 53

I have a period of 22 years in the public service (1972-1994) with pension contribution during that period. I am told I can get pension (17k PA plus lump sum) at 60 plus lump sum.
I am working for an NGO since 1994 and they paid a pension of 500 euro pm since 1998.

At the end of each year, if funds are available, the NGO pays 5k into my New Ireland staff pension fund.

I don't have a clue but will all this give me a decent pension?

You just said you have at least 17k p.a. plus whatever the NGO pension is worth, plus a lump sum (unspecified).

Sounds decent to me, in the sense that it's worth a lot more than the standard non-contributory pension.

But it all depends on your lifestyle.
