Pension plan for next 5 years when I retire at age 55.

Should I go to other online platform T212... to purchase the AVC PRSA from Zurich or others to reduce the AMC and other charges?

My other question is should I get income protection insurance? My broker advised me to do it just in case I get sick.. I am only 50 and in public sector job. I want to retire at least 55. No later than 60 years old.

I don't think that T212 do pensions.

Contact Liam Ferguson as suggested to get a competitive AMC rate. His website is ferga.com.

You probably have very good sick pay benefits and little risk of becoming unemployed from your public sector employment.

Do you have any savings ?

You might not need employment protection insurance.

But bear in mind that revenue's definition of final remuneration will likely still give more scope to fund for a lump sum

It probably depends on the sector but I'm not sure if that is so for the majority of public servants. Pensionable remuneration (or final remuneration) includes pensionable allowances along with salary.

I did some search and found the following AVC PRSA comparison in Ireland. I like the idea to put €300 with Zurich, and €200 with Standard Life by using a broker for exceution only. The reason I choose Zurich is I have some ideas of their pension fund. I know nothing about Standard life pension fund, but they have Vanguard fund. Any recommondation?
