Hi,
I am currently employed in a research organisation attached to a third level institute and I am member of its DB scheme.
My contract is for an indefinite period but conditioned on availablility of research grants and industry revenue.
I recieved no pay increase this January despite working
particularly hard last year. One memeber of group is being let go and our boss informed us that similiar action may be necessary again in the near future.
My question is will my salary be subject to pension levy even though I plainly do not enjoy any security of employment?
