Hi i was just wondering what the impact of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994 has on the implementation of the Pension Levy. As within same it says that all info re: terms and conditions of Pension Schemes have to be included in the contract for an employee. If indeed this is the case then in earlier contracts would have the old information regarding Pension payments/scheme. Would this have to be amended on existing contracts etc.?

Thanks

As the pension levy doesn't affect the conditions of the pension scheme itself (the levy doesn't provide any additional pension entitlements), I imagine there's no requirement to change terms of employment.

I'd agree with gipimann here.

I presume you contract states that your pay is subject to statutory deductions and the pension levy would fall into this category.
