Pension decisions following redundancy

Can anyone advise on the following,

My wife recently became redundant as a result her previous employers are no longer the trustees of her pension plan, she has received a letter detailing a number of options available to her. Option number 4 is to transfer to a PRSA.

Can anyone explain what is a PRSA ??
