Penalty points finished mid policy

3 of my 6 penalty points will run out mid way through my next policy. Should this affect my premium?
 
Probably not. First of all check what your policy and conditions say -- do you have a penalty point loading or were you just asked if you had six or less points? If the latter, then your points don't matter. Even if you have a loading, my experience is that companies only change it at next renewal date. But if it's important to you, just ring and ask.
