I am removing Grant back boiler and installing an insert stove to heat living room.I was thinking of installing a wood pellet stove in our kitchen.I was thinking that the pipe work from the old back boiler could be amended to enable a wood pellet stove with boiler.The kitchen is at the other side of chimney in living room.I have a spare flue inserted at ceiling height up to chimney , put there when I built the house.Just thought if I put in a pellet stove without boiler it might be a missed opportunity.It is a 4 bed dormer bungalow.Currently have an old oil boiler.
