Hi.
I have been offered a job on a farm. He will not pay my tax. Can I pay my own through PAYE or will I be classed as self employed? Thanks
 
Your employer is foolish. He will probably be treated as paying you net. Therefore he would have a huge tax and prsi bill for you.

If it's the only job you can get, you may have no choice. But if you have a choice, look for a proper employer.
