PAYE Tax credit in switch year?

Hi all,
In 2010 my GF was a PAYE worker until August and then in September she started working as self-employed.

My question is that can she claim the PAYE tax credit of €1830 for 2010? She ticked the PAYE box on the Form 11, but the assessment has come back with no PAYE tax credit included? Surely she should be able to claim at least 8/12's of the credit for the months when she was a PAYE worker?

I checked the revenue website and couldn't find any fine print concerning when the PAYE tax credit can be applied or not?

Thanks

Yes she can claim it as long as she has the tax paid to match it
just ring revenue- probably just an oversight
