Hi
I have been working in Ireland since 2004 and left Ireland last July looking for work abroad. In October I secured a one month contract role in Munich and employed a UK umberella company to look after my tax affairs. Because they deducted €5764 emergency tax from my payslip I enquired when I could claim this back from the Irish government and they said that they paid paye on a quarterly basis, my concern is in Ireland paye/prsi is paid on a monthly basis. Is it fair to say any company in UK pay employee's tax on a quarterly basis.
Many thanks
Mary
