PAYE question.

BACKGROUND.

Elderly relative - receives occupational pension - operates on PAYE basis - gets no pension slips just a P.60 at year end - uses Form 12 (S) each year by way of a paper return - does not use on-line Revenue services.

QUESTION.

What does he now do to make an income tax return as I understand that P.60s do not exist any more ? He makes a return each year as he has additional income from a state pension and always has unrecovered medical expenses which vary each year.

2018 is the last year for P.60s so he should get one this year. However, it seems Revenue are trying to get everyone to do online returns and his P60 will be available on My Account - however they say that if you are not able to use My Account you can complete form 12.
