Paye/Prsi for employee in receipt of disability benefit

Hi,

• If a lad on a gross of say €500 pw is paid while off work due to disability
• And this lad receives say €200 pw from social welfare as disability benefit
• And the employer is given this amount by the employee.

• Is Paye/Prsi only applied as if the gross was €300?
• If not what happens?
