I just got my login to PAYE Anytime and I'm embarressed to admit I havent the first clue as to what I should be checking.
Can anyone give me some basic steps as to what I should be looking at? I got married 2 years ago and we are jointly assessed for tax but I dont even know how to check if this is happening.

Would appreciate a a styep-by-step guide if anyone has the time (and patience).
thanks.

You can use and download the ROS Anytime guide from the revenue website. It's a breeze to understand and outlines what you can do etc. Here's the link:

Download PDF version from the bottom of the webpage.

ROS itself is very straight-forward, you can look at incomes, allowances, order statements, claim health care costs etc, there is even an explanatory help-screen once you login. Hope this helps.

just got a booklet in post yesterday, PAYE, A guide to PAYE for employees, best thing ever as I read it and now understand the whole tax credits etc. Big differences from 2010 to 2011 unfort.
