Pay Related Job Seekers - change to redundancy rules?

Hi all,

I had been monitoring the new "Pay Related Job Seekers Benefit" since start of year as I knew I would have an upcoming redundancy.

When it was first launched, the rules clearly stated any ex-gratia or redundancy payment would result in a 9 week delay in getting payment.
I checked again this week and it looks like that rule is now removed (the Gov.ie reference page shows last updated timestamp of APR 25th)

Now the section under redundancy section it simply says: "Getting a redundancy payment does not affect your eligibility for Jobseeker’s Pay-Related Benefit."

Just curious if anyone else noticed this or was it published anywhere else? it helps me out big time as I presumed I would need to wait the 9 weeks when the time comes.
