Pay&File deadline for 2013 tax year (Form 12) - do I have until midnight today?

Hi everyone.

I know the deadline for submitting Form 12 for 2013 tax year is today (i.e. if using PAYE anytime online return service). However, do I have until midnight tonight to submit the form, or is it normal working hours i.e. until 17:30?

Thanks. I tried ringing Revenue, but gave up after being on hold for over 20 minutes.

Thanks Joe and Brendan, I appreciate the quick replies. One of these years I'll actually get my return filed on time and be able to sit back and watch some other poor schmuck scramble to get their's in ;-)

Does deadline apply to form 12s? Was sure it was only form 11s....

Hi JMG

Yes, it's a great feeling to get it in well before the deadline and then hear the accountancy bodies complaining that the system crashed on the last day.
 
Well I got it in, just. Didn't get the "your late" email, so maybe they rectified that since the article was published. Thanks again Brendan and Joe.
