I have a 07 Passat 2.0 Tdi and recently I have noticed a funny sound coming from the clutch. There is 112,000KM on the car. It happens when i re-engage the cluth after going from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd and it is a fairly load rubbing sound. It sounds a bit like as if the two clutch plates are rubbing or slipping.
Someone mentioned that it might be a Dual Mass Flywheel problem or a clutch release bearing.
Does anyone have any experience of this and how much it is likely to cost.
