Passage West

I don't know what Passage is like to live in, but I find the town to be very dreary looking and depressing. The town needs some investment to spruce it up.

Drove over there to look at a property at the weekend, There are a lot of sold signs and not too many for sale signs. That is a good sign.

Up on Church Hill - i agree about the village itseslf it is abit run down looking but i would have thought that it was likely that it would be rejuvenated in the future given its proximity to rochestown and monkstown

Any views

I heard that most of Passage is shadowed by the hill between Passage and Rochestown/Douglas in the evening time and it gets no evening sun.
It might be worth checking out a house on a sunny Spring/Summer
evening before you buy.

I agree that Passage has great potential given its location...I don't understand why more money hasn't been invested in sprucing up the town. I know people living in Passage who come into Douglas to drink. Having said that though, I don't think it will be too long before Passage (& Carrigtwohill) get face lifts to meet the residential demand.
