im working part time for a company, i have the chance of a fulltime job with a different company. can anyone tell me how much notice i need to give my current employer? can i give a week or less im with the company 6 years?
Usually your pay period would denote the length of notice - ie paid monthly, give a months notice BUT employment contract may differ. Either way, I would give as much notice as possible as a courtesy.
