Partner's Debt from previous relationship

My partner has debt arising from her previous marriage and she has given my / our address to the creditors. The question is how do I make it clear to all that I am not liable for the debt? I do not want creditors knocking at the door or a county court judgement affecting my credit.

Would a notice of disassociation be useful?

Could a bailiff, for example, try to take my property as she lives with me?

OP this is an Irish site and we do not have county court judgements, etc. like the UK (well England and Wales anyway). You may get better insight on a UK site.
