Hi there, I was given the job of looking into my in-laws renewal last October and thanks to this thread I saved them almost €2000, and earned serious brownie points!
However, my own parents cover is up this month and having done some claims for them over the Christmas on Laya's new app, I feel they're very badly covered for the almost €2400 premium.
they are currently on Essential Connect Family.
Dad is late 60's, has had three hip and one knee replacement but general good health, so ortho cover is important naturally but maybe looking at more day to day cover
Mam is early 60's, very fit and health, underactive thyroid and had varicous veins removed. They both wear glasses.
Again, looking at more day to day cover, ie physio and optician etc.
I dont think they're looking to save like the amount my parents in law did rather to move to a better plan.
Any input or knowledge would be greatly appreciated!
