Panda electronically tagging bins (Fingal)

I've been waiting on my stickers to come in the post so rang yesterday. Panda are now going to tag the bins and we will be invoiced accordingly. Not sure what the billing period will be.

I hope though this won't open the way for pay by weight down the road
 
Thanks for that was going to phone them myself.. as paid that first 55e and still waiting on stickers too..be interesting all right to see what way they do it..

Why ever not? Produce less waste by weight and you will be able to reduce your bill.

In rural ireland we have had such a system for a few years now. My black bin is very light but my recycle (green) bin, bottle (red) bin and compost (brown) caddy bins are very heavy.
 
At present we pay per lift with panda in fingal - been with them nearly two years now. Never any problem with bills and we just put bin out maybe 1 time per month.
